High-resolution digital video is recorded directly to non-volatile solid-state memory or to a DVD that can be viewed on any standard player or computer capable of playing movie DVDs.
Unlike competitive units, they record up to 68 hours of 720 X 480 D1 quality MPEG2 video (with optional high capacity memory upgrade) on removable Secure Digital Flash Memory. No shock-sensitive spinning DVD or hard drives to fail. MPEG2 records with less compression, which translates to a sharper image and much faster DVD burning time.

Depending on system configuration, you have the option to burn a DVD in the vehicle, download files directly from the vehicle to your wireless network (with optional 802.11n interface) or exchange the recorded SDHC card and store the files on your office PC with the included Digital Video Evidence Management (DVEM) software package.
DVEM provides a complete file storage and management solution. Features include variable speed playback, file search by date/time or key word, take snapshots and add case notes. Burn either movie or data DVDs very fast.
