Compact and Rugged Design – Housed in a splash and dust resistant protective metal shell, the maintenance free LXF is unbelievably light, thin and well balanced. Its intuitive design and compact size make it the go to recorder for most in-field interview scenarios.
Simple to Operate – The recorder is remarkably easy to use. All functions are controlled by the AMOLED touchscreen display. Simply tap the image capture button to begin and end recordings. Focused Video Stabilization reduces issues with camera shake and motion blur. The camera captures both still images and video.
High Definition…and Beyond – LXF features Sony’s new, next generation 12.3 M-pixel EXMOR image sensor fitted with a professional-quality 2.3mm optical glass lens. The recorder captures sharp, detailed images with brilliant color reproduction. Low light performance is second to none. Record quality is scalable up to 1080P @ 30fps.
Record All Day – With 32GB of solid-state memory, the LXF can capture >24 hours of 1080P video without recharging. Content is captured in the industry standard H.264/MPEG-4 format, ensuring that recordings can be played by the viewer’s choice of application. The resulting 50% smaller file size makes archival storage affordable.
Embedded Time/Date/Metadata Authentication – Recordings are protected by individual frame watermarking and a permanent visual time/date/user-data overlay for both reference and air tight authentication.
Superior Audio – An array of three internal microphones with active noise cancelling technology effectively gathers important conversation, even in an uncontrolled environment. LXF can easily capture voices 10 meters away and whispers from across the room.
Security – Each recorder is assigned a unique multi-digit access code linked to the device serial number. If the recorder is lost or stolen, the device cannot be accessed by unauthorized users. LXF is the most reliable and secure way for law enforcement to record in-field interviews and document interaction between police and suspects.
Lightning Fast File Transfer – File import and processing software is included. The application allows users to quickly transfer files to a computer with the supplied mini USB cable. Once exported, files may be converted to any format for duplication, discovery or presentation.
